Hand Snake

For immediate relief of a minor clog. What exactly is meant by immediate? In most cases, Herring has just pumped the septic tank because the homeowner has been experiencing a back up. Our pump truck drivers carry hand snakes on all our pump trucks and vans and can use these to relieve an easy clog. This means that the property owner does not have to wait for the larger snaking equipment to come to the site. This equipment is too large to carry in a Pump Truck. For simple clogs this is the fastest and least expensive answer to easy clogs.

Toilet Bowl Snake

This snake is designed mainly to handle clogs that present themselves at the toilet. These clogs don’t generally settle in the pipes through the building leading to the waste system but instead in the toilet bowl trap. You’d be very surprised what we find when we use that snake. GI Joe, Barbie, Bounce house balls, the dreaded wet wipes and even rags which used to be fancy wash cloths. These clogs are solid and won’t budge.

Small Electric Snake

These snakes are used for small applications such as inside drain lines or small areas that our larger snake can not fit into. They are better than using any hand snake as they are driven by power. 

Large Electric Snake

A Large Electric Snake is a heavy machine that has to be transported in a van or pick up truck. These snakes are used to unclog the main waste line exiting your house or building that leads to the septic tank. This snake is ideal for pipes 4 inches in diameter. Herring's preferable use of this snake is from the outside in. Herring’s goal is to have all the waste that is released by this snake come rushing out to the septic tank or main waste line and not into the basement or the building. Oftentimes after a hand snake is used Herring's team of Merry Men will have to follow up with an electric snake job because relieving clogs is similar to a beaver dam. Rod Runner

This Snake is ideal for pipes 4-6 inches in diameter. Electric Snakes take all forms but when you need the bad boy of electric snakes, Herring brings the dreaded Rod Runner. It is mostly used for commercial jobs. There are some residential customers that have needed the Rod Runner when all else failed to solve their problem.
